Thanks to Covid which gave me a different view of experiencing the movie. br> Khuda Haafiz a perfect weekend watch movie. Vidyut Jammval who had been seen a full on action hero in Commando series performing breath taking stunts here he had shown that his caliber is not only restricted to only action genre movies. br> A day back of release director Faruk Kabir had said that he had confidence on taking Vidyut into this role & today i applaud his forecast. Yes Vidyut had done a marvelous act. br> The story very well shown the difficulties of the common man whose only aim is to be their family happy and hear lot where women work in abroad as nurses, clerks etc... Y just to show that they are working abroad and in vacation they will bring costly products and impress the in most cases they just toil day night just to send a good amount back to their family at hometown so as to meet their daily and when this kind of situation happens it's nothing but illfate. br> When it comes to performance as I mentioned Vidyut had shown a different pain, the worry of a husband who just wants to get his wife back at any situation is very well enacted. Bollyowod will definitely make Vidyut a superstar soon. Shivaleeka Oberoi had done her part very Kapoor man who shown remarkable performance in Jolly LLB 2 here he has not left any chance of complaint. Kudos sir. br> Director Faruk Kabir had well researched on this as its a True event and very well executed... Filmmakers like should bring such fantabulous scripts which will make us the viewers watch with great level of interest. br> Yes one thing the movie teaches is if we believe in God then there is no obstacle which will make us HAAFIZ.

Though you know had it been commando series vidyut have beaten all easily but still it was a refreshing change from vidyut. His best acting performance so far.

What's with all the (paid? reviews giving it a 10? Do those reviewers truly believe this represents the pinnacle of Indian film making?
I beg to differ.
I didn't have high expectations but was at least expecting an action packed, don't think too much about it, just enjoy the eye candy movie. Like Commando, maybe?
But there is very little action, what there is very low budget, the writing poor, the story line weak, and Sameer comes across as the damsel-in-distress character with his hand-wringing and shakiness rather than Nargis. The mirchi powder used in one fight scene looks like gulaal and the blood that flows out of wounds is a brilliant scarlet. And Annu Kapoor tries hard but cannot save the movie.
Also, how is it that pretty much everyone in the fictional land of Nomah that Sameer runs into, from criminals to higher ups in government, speaks Hindi?
For every excellent Ghoomketu and Chintu Ka Birthday and Raat Akeli Hai, I suppose a Khuda Hafiz or a Virgin Bhanupriya is needed to achieve balance in the world. br> At least Azerbaijan where the overseas scenes were shot looks beautiful enough to visit.
